Was looking online to buy some additional batteri s but can't seem to find the right type. Can you provide a link as to where I can purchase these? I like to have multiple sets for my battery operated devices. Thanks

Search for "18350 button top" on Amazon, look for batteries without protection; the charger already has overcharge protection for the charging battery, and ProView S3 has discharge protection for shorting. Batteries with protection is longer in length, may have problem fitting ProView S3 battery compartment, and has smaller peak discharge current limiting gimbal performance.

Is there anywhere you can buy the same battery charger that comes with the ProView S3? Thanks.

Don't think it's available on Internet. But you should be able to find many "18350 battery charger" on Amazon.

With most of the chargers either for 2 or 4 batteries on the internet, would you sell your 3 battery charger as a single item?

Later after we ship out for all backers, will review which single items can make available for users to order. Thank you.

This is as close as I can find on Amazon (see link). It is 1200 instead of 700 mAh.... Is this acceptable to use in your device?

If not, can you send a link to an acceptable battery for me to use?

Hi George 4,
It lists some absurd dimension numbers. You'll need to double check with the seller.
Battery type to use: 18350, button top, no protection, similar dimension as ones used for ProView S3.
Batteries from different vendors may have varying quality, we didn't test others on the market, so we are unable to make recommendations.

please can you say me, what is the correct battery in www.amazon.es?
thanks

Hi speed_dragon,
Those vendors seem sloppy. The dimension numbers all look a bit strange. Please ask them if their 18350 battery meets below requirement:
1. button top
2. No protection PCB
3. about 35.5mm length & 18mm diameter. There is a spring on the battery screw, so slight variation in length will be OK.

Hi, how about this?
http://www.lelong.com.my/nitecore-imr-1 … Sale-I.htm
It's stated as:
High Discharge / IMR Cell
Typical Capacity: 700mAh
Nominal Voltage: 3.7V
Discharge Voltage: 2.8V
Charging Voltage: 4.20+-0.05V
Max Continous Discharging Current: 7A
Dimension: Length 35.50mm, Diameter 18.20mm
Weight: 20gWarning: This high-discharge performance Lithium-ion IMR battery is NOT protected against being over-charged, over-discharged or short-circuited. It is very important to observe the following when using:
DO NOT discharge at below 2.75V
DO NOT Charge at above 4.2V
DO NOT short circuit (may release potentially harzadous current)

Looks good. It's 700mAh type, a little lower than the 900mAh type supplied.

Hi plmartins,
Not all country allow shipping of battery by itself, so we didn't offer online. You can write mandy.lin@navin.com.tw to ask about purchase of battery if we can ship for your country. Alternatively, customers can simply look for 18350 battery, without protection circuit, button top type, 18mm diameter, 35mm height on Amazon, eBay, or online electronics shops and get them locally.

Dear Admin,
You mentioned to user speed-dragon, the following requirements (quoted below) for additional batteries that would be compatible with both the ProView S3 unit and your charger.
I found some at this website: http://www.batteryjunction.com/efest-3712-button.html
Their specs are as follows:
Chemistry: Li-Ion
Voltage: 3.7V
Battery size: 18350
Capacity: 900mAh
Estimated charge cycles: 500
Diameter: 0.72" (18.45mm)
Height: 1.47" (37.36mm)
Weight: 1.94 oz (55g)
Button Top
Unprotected Cell
So, my question to you is about size. I note that the size of the batteries I found online is a slight bit bigger in diameter and in height. Since you said that there is a spring in the battery screw, do you think that 3 of these would fit well in the ProViewS3?
Also, is there anything in the specs for these Efest 18350 batteries that would give you any concern about using them with both the ProView S3 and your charger?
thanks,
Paul

One can see that the shipped battery is a bit loose in ProView S3 battery compartment, so there is room to accommodate slightly larger diameter 18350 battery, Also there is a spring on the battery cap and it needs to be screw tightened. So one should be able to make educated guess if online batteries with slightly different numbers would work or not. We prefer not to directly reply yes or no, to avoid being held accountable if those listed battery spec aren't exactly as what's shipped. Thanks for understanding.

I understand what you are saying and your position, but at the same time, I respectfully think that it's unfortunately more "lawyer-like" than "engineer-like". If you are saying that you don't want to give a judgement as to whether a battery that's 1.86 mm taller and .45mm larger in diameter will fit because you don't know that the vendor will send batteries that are the size that's advertised (and therefore don't want to be held accountable for such advice), that seems silly to me. If the batteries the vendor sends end up being different in size from what that vendor advertised, then the fault would lie with that vendor, not with you. The question still boils down to whether a cumulative 5.58mm in length (3 x 1.86mm) will fit within the tolerance of that spring. I have made the "educated guess" that it will fit, and will order the batteries. I will let you know when I get them if they fit and work or not. Thanks.
