With the new update of the proview S3 app combining with ios 10.1 to 10.3.2, it gives error on pairing with the phones bluetooth. It will connect during calibration and initial setup. But once you click the pairing phone on the proview app, it will give you the error and wont get the info of your device. So it means we loose the capability to take picture using the MFB of the proview S3.
I waited a long time and got a pro view.
I've tested my device and found that there is a problem.
It's vibration and shake.
Please check the image below.
You are operating it outside of its working range.
The handheld smartphone gimbal is intended to be used holding in upright, upside-down, or flash-light horizontal position; it’ll maintain steady camera shooting angle if rotated within a range of angle walking or running. Yet it’s not designed to work without any restriction as some might have thought, falsely reporting hardware problem when actually it's being operated outside its intended range. For example, a much more expensive gimbal on the market similarly cannot hold stabilization correctly when operated outside the gimbal intended working range:
I follow all the steps and the gimbal trembles nothing but move it.
I've followed all the steps and I've set the weight with both the original apple skin case and her. 189gr without the housing and 221 with the housing.el video: https://youtu.be/6-iCHbY-9Bg
thanks
You are using it wrong. The positioning is outside of its operating parameter. It should be use on flashlight mode and specific angle limit.
Follow this https://vimeo.com/187276331 . And if you want to level it to 0 degree, use the accelerometer (level app) built in on the phone.
Yeah this post need to be pin. Very informational.
Hi Taolin,
To allow us determine if it's usage issue or gimbal problem, can you help make a video using another phone according to below steps to show how the gimbal is used?
1. Start from powered off state
2. Do pairing phone tuning
3. When done, continue do the maneuver that you say it vibrates even during minimal amounts of rotation. Turn on video recording of the phone on the gimbal at this stage, to better see small vibrations. Two videos something similar to this would help: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwBD1W … sp=sharing
Thank you.
That grinding noise is the annoying thing when the recorder picks it up. lol
I received my new gimbal yesterday and DO (follow) all the important steps. One issue I encounter is that the motor is making a grinding noise even the Gimbal is not moving forward/backward or side to side. It means that the motor is is continuously running. And since the phones microphone is located on the bottom part and near the motor, this will pick up that noise. The video you're showing to us on the demo is edited and have a background music which is covering the motor noise.
If my unit is defective, please send a replacement cause I already missed an important event where i can use this gimbal (daugther's birthday. My next event is thanksgiving with friends from abroad visiting us. A 20 years reunion with friends that I wanted to have a good memories with.
You can hear the motor grinding even without excessive movement. I just received mine yesterday and that's the issue i noticed
